A medical professional association
assisting primary care pediatric practices.
Children's Practicing Pediatricians (CPP) sponsors a very successful Vaccine Group Purchase Program. The benefits of the program have been extended nationally to a large number of pediatric, family medicine, internal medicine and OB/GYN practices. Through CPP, practices can access discounted prices and rebates for virtually all of the vaccines currently listed on the approved ACIP, AAP, AAFP Recommended Childhood Immunizations Schedule, United States (Prevnar® being the only exception).

CPP was established to assist members in addressing changes in the healthcare system that affect the business of medicine. CPP has played a significant role in advocating for legislation supporting physicians. Through AAP lobbyists and direct contact with legislators, CPP has addressed inequities with Managed Care Organizations and Medicaid/Medicare reform. CPP also works to obtain relief from the administrative burdens of Managed Care.
